Kemudian taruhlan ponsel di atasnya, berikut baterainya, untuk dikeringkan. Ketika hari sudah gelap, bawalah ponsel masuk ke rumah. Anda dapat mengulangi langkah ini dalam waktu sekitar lima hari.
• Setelah beberapa hari pengeringan dengan sinar matahari, kemudian Anda dapat menggunakan ‘blow dryer’ dengan panas yang rendah, dan menempatkannya sekitar 3 inch dari baterai ponsel. Anda dapat melakukannya sekitar 30 menit.
• Kemudian letakkan baterai ponsel kembali ke ponsel, lalu coba nyalakan. Jika Anda melihat cahaya dari tombol-tombol ponsel Anda, bukan dari layar, maka hal ini adalah pertanda baik. Hal ini berarti ponsel masih dapat berjalan.
• Cobalah untuk menekan nomor telepon seperti biasanya, walaupun dalam kondisi layar gelap. Jika terdapat nada panggilan, berarti layar Anda akan kembali suatu saat. Namun, jika tidak, maka Anda dapat mengeringkan ponsel Anda seperti langkah sebelumnya.
• Jika ponsel Anda tidak ada perubahan dalam dua minggu, Anda mungkin dapat membeli handphone baru lagi. Bagaimanapun, Anda dapat menunggu dan mengeringkannya kembali sesuai langkah di atas berulang kali, terlebih jika ponsel terendam dalam waktu lama, maka akan dibutuhkan waktu lama pula untuk pengeringannya.

5.Sebaiknya content gambar tidak didownload agar lebih hemat, cara settingnyamelalui web browser.

Cara setting:

a) Install sofware nokia PC Suite (bisa didownload, cari aja di Om google)

1.install sofware Nokia PC suite atau driver lainnya yang support.

2.Colokin HP ke komputer

3.Pilih control panel - Phone dan Modem Options pada tab modem klik tombol Add. control panel »Phone and Modem Options pada tab modem klik tombol Add. Jika baru pertama kali,set dulu area code pada tab Dialing Rules. Ikuti langkah-langkah pada gambar berikut

4.tandai Don’t detect my modem; I will select it from a list. Ikuti langkah-langkahpada gambar berikut:

5.lalu klik tombol Have disk, browse file driver modem ponsel cdma yang dapat didownload di situs fren

6.kemudian pilih NOKIA CDMA2000 1X 3G Packet Data Modem, lalu klik next

7.kemudian pilih selected port dan klik port yang tersedia. Jika tidak muncul coba matikan (exit) program Nokia PC suite yang ada pada tray

8.klik tombol Continue Anyway pada window Hardware Installation yang muncul

9.klik ok

b) Buat halaman login dial-up

1.klik control panel - Network Connections. Pada menu file klik New Connection…, lalu ikuti langkah-langkah pada gambar berikut:
